Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us through the GMM Digital Art website, why we use it and what rights you have. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Romanian data protection law.

1. Who we are

The data controller is GMM Digital Art SRL, tax ID 51961527, Trade Register no. J2025042034006.

2. What data we collect

• Through the contact form: name, phone number, email address (optional), the services you are interested in and your message.
• Through the price calculator: the options you selected, only if you send them to us through the form.
• By email, phone or WhatsApp: any data you choose to share in the conversation.

We do not collect sensitive data and never ask for card details through the website.

3. Why we use your data

• to answer your questions and send you the quote you asked for (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• to build the website you ordered and communicate during the project (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• to issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell it.

4. Who receives your data

Your data only reaches us. To work, the website relies on a few providers that may process data on our behalf:

• Web3Forms: delivers the form messages to our email address;
• Google (Gmail): the email service we use;
• WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp;
• the website's hosting provider.

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (such as standard contractual clauses).

5. How long we keep your data

We keep messages and quote requests for up to 2 years after our last communication if you do not become a client. For clients, we keep data for the duration of our collaboration, and accounting documents for as long as the law requires.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format and object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at gmmdigitalart@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.

7. Cookies and external services

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We only use local browser storage: so that the WhatsApp chat window does not appear more than once per visit, and so that the changes you try in our portfolio demo websites stay saved only on your device. This data never reaches us.

Fonts (Google Fonts) and photos (Unsplash) are loaded from these providers' servers, which therefore receive your browser's IP address, needed to display the content.

We may update this policy when the way we work or the law changes. The date of the latest update is shown above.
